Ross Sherwood,Chair Ross Sherwood has been a member of the Westfield United Church for 43 years. He has been active in many different aspects of his church. From teaching Sunday School, chairing many committees within the church and currently one of the youth leaders. This will be Ross's 10th year involved in Youth Forum, the past 6 years as a member of the Planning Team. As a member of the Planning Team and facilitator at the event, Ross is excited to build a weekend for the youth, giving them an opportunity to share their faith and ideas with their peers. Ross has a passion and a love for God. Ross is a full time dad to Patrick, the best gift ever. Ross has travelled on 4 mission trips, the Czech Republic, Thailand, India and most recently to Paraguay. Ross has many favorite scriptures but one comes to mind. Psalm 91:11 "For God shall give the angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy way." |

Nic Carhart, Treasurer & Registrar Nic is the Treasurer / Registrar for Youth Forum. Originally by way of a dairy farm in Sussex, NB, Nic now lives in Rothesay, NB. He works in the design and communications industry. This will be his seventh year as a facilitator at YF, and sixth as part of the Planning Team. Nic was first introduced to YF way back in the day when he came as a participant in 1997. He loves everything about Youth Forum. |

Karen Hatcher, Co-Director Karen Hatcher is a Co-Director on the Youth Forum Planning Team. She has been a Youth Forum facilitator and participant for close to 10 years. Karen has also been a home group leader at General Council Youth Forum and Kairos. Karen works as a teacher in Amherst. |

Nathan Beeler, Co-Director Nathan Beeler is a Co-Director on the Youth Forum Planning Team. Nathan is a music teacher from Halifax and has been a part of the Youth Forum Music Team for many years. He plays mandolin, guitar and just about anything else needed at the time. He has a beautiful wife, two very active beagles and a huge love of praise music. |

David Campbell, Secretary Dave joins the team this year as secretary, he has been a facilitator the past 3 years and a participant before that. Dave is currently studying at AST to follow the call to become a minister. |

Rev. Shawn Redden, Chaplain Shawn is the female chaplain for Youth Forum for 2012. She is enthused about being part of the YF team once again, and has great memories as a facilitator, chaplain, and co-director back in the 1990's. Shawn is Minister of Faith Formation at St. Paul's in Sussex and offers programming at Tatamagouche Centre. "Youth Forum is always a celebration of the Spirit, so looking forward to igniting the church with some YF Spirit!" |

Rev. Sim Rushton, Chaplain Sim is the male chaplain for Youth Forum. He is also a past member of the music team. |

Jen LeBlanc, Facilitator Representative Jen has been involved as an YF Facilitator for a number of years and is very happy to join the Planning Team this year as the Facilitator Rep. |

Gord Williams, Communications Coordinator Gord is the YF Communications Coordinator. He has spent the past 6 Youth Forums as our photographer and facilitator. Gord is a youth leader at St Paul's United and a member of the Program Resource Group at Tatamagouche Centre. |

Sarah Sutherland, Facilities Coordinator Sarah was a participant at Youth Forum from 03' to 06'and also had the opportunity to be a Participant Representative for the Planning Team one of those years. This is her first year as Facilities Coordinator for Youth Forum. Sarah is from Sackville N.B (the location of YF!) and graduated from MTA with a Biology degree in 09'. After traveling across seas for 6 months, she is back at the University of New Brunswick working on her second degree to become a nurse. |

Anna MacDermid, Youth Representative Having been introduced to Youth Forum in 2008, Anna - hailing from the beautiful province of Nova Scotia - hasn't been able to tear herself away. Once returning for her fourth consecutive year as a youth participant, Anna enthusiastically accepted the position of youth representative. Along with her counterpart, Lucas Coughlin, Anna will be bringing the voice of the youth to drawing table. So make sure to send her an email if you have any thoughts, ideas or suggestions that could make this years youth forum, the best yet! |

Steve Spencer, Music Director ~ lead vocals, guitar, percussion Steve is a transplanted Islander now living in Riverview NB. He has had several roles with Youth Forum over the 15 years he has been involved. He has had the advantage of seeing things from the participant, to the facilitator, to a non facilitating role perspective as part of the music team. "Youth Forum is a blessing for high school youth to worship God together and to explore his.her faith." |

Vikki McLaughlin, Music Team ~ piano/keyboard, vocals Youth Forum 2011 will be Vikki's tenth year on the music team. Along with being the pianist, she also adds some awesome vocals to the group! She was born and raised in Masstown, NS. Vikki is a recent St. Francis Xavier University grad, and is now working as a teacher. |

Sara Wilson, Music Team ~ bass guitar, vocals Sara calls Kensington, P.E.I home but will always be 'born and raised' from Truro (and Masstown), N.S. She graduated from St.Francis Xavier University with Music degree and is now running around Toronto, finishing a Master of Sacred Music (Music Ministry! :) ) at the United Church of Canada theological school, Emmanuel College. Sara has been part of the Music Team for 3 years and cannot wait to get back after moving home from Toronto in May. Youth Forum is an amazing safe space for all youth looking to explore what God means to them! |
